Discover the magic of the Monteverde cloud forest after sunset on a guided night walk designed for families, couples, solo travelers, and nature lovers of all ages.

From the moment you arrive at the parking area, you are already surrounded by cloud forest. The experience takes place within more than 50 hectares of primary cloud forest, away from houses, domestic animals, and public roads—allowing you to enjoy a peaceful and authentic natural setting.

Led by friendly and knowledgeable local naturalist guides, you’ll walk along safe forest trails in search of fascinating nocturnal wildlife, including mammals, birds, frogs, insects, and many other creatures that become active after dark.

With over 20 years of experience, our team focuses on small groups, giving everyone personalized attention and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We use professional optical equipment to help you observe wildlife, and when conditions allow, guests can capture memorable photographs during the experience.

Every night is different, making each walk a unique adventure and an opportunity to discover the hidden wonders of Monteverde.

        ● Closed-toe shoes are required.
        ● Comfortable clothing and a light jacket are recommended.
        ● Please arrive at the meeting point on time.
        ● Please have a photo or copy of your passport or another valid ID available for your own reference when completing the waiver.
        ● Smoking is not permitted during the tour.
        ● Alcohol or recreational drug use is not permitted before or during the tour.
        ● Guests must follow the guide’s safety instructions at all times.
        ● Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, as animals are observed in their natural habitat.
        ● Rain ponchos may be available, subject to availability.
        ● The tour operates in natural forest conditions and may include uneven or wet trails.
        ● This is not a private tour. Other guests or groups may be present during the experience in the park.
